World at your feet, celebrating urban diversity

Today, over 4 billion people live in urban areas. Here, individuals from all cultural backgrounds converge, creating a vibrant tapestry of life. ‘World at Your Feet’ embraces the joy and the strength inherent to this super-diversity.

To truly celebrate this diversity, we need a fresh, 21st century approach to city design. An approach developed from a heightened awareness and aligned with the re-balance our world is going through.

‘World at your feet’ works on international

Our activities include:

• action-research
• publications
• non-profit consultancy
• talks
• exchange

All focused on how to enhance the process of renewing our existing cities. And, there is a special interest in the role habitants play in designing their neighborhood with grassroots activities.

Current activities:

• International research in India, Spain and Morocco on neighborhood transitions following the framework of ‘5 step model for neighborhood renewal’
• Support grassroots initiative in Andalucia, Spain to use baking and selling of various bread to create a community
• Support local grassroots organization for housing
